In addition to serving as managing editor and web designer for Glint Literary Journal, Brenda Mann Hammack teaches folklore, modern poetry, women’s literature and creative writing at Fayetteville State University where she also serves as coordinator for the concentration in creative and professional writing. In October 2019, Brenda collaborated with Judith Roney to offer the online workshop “Conjuring Women and the Contrary Craft of Poetry” at Poetry Barn. Her previous online workshops have focused on fairy tale, magic realism, metafiction, and hybrid genre writing. Her book, Humbug: A Neo-Victorian Fantasy in Verse, was released in 2013.
