$10.00

OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE: March 15, 2021

DOOM LOOP WONDERLAND, a micro memoir in hybrid essays and prose poems, uses lush lyricism and the darkness of the fairytale-esque to tells the story of domestic violence, addiction, and clawing toward freedom. With the sharp bite of waking up in a den of wolves and the mossy sweetness of the forest floor, Olivier recounts her experience with abuse and self-reclamation with a poignant clarity that lingers long after you devour its pages.

LeeAnn Olivier, M.F.A., teaches English and Humanities at a community college in Texas. Her poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction have appeared in several journals, including most recently Infection House, Parhelion, and Driftwood Press, whose editors nominated her for a 2018 Pushcart Prize. Her first chapbook Spindle My Spindle, which features the voices of suppressed female characters from myth and fairy tale, was published by Hermeneutic Chaos Press in 2016. A survivor of domestic violence, Olivier now lives with her wonderful husband Nathan, his two teenagers, and a menagerie of rescued animals.
