CJ Scruton is a trans, non-binary writer currently living on the Great Lakes, where they teach and research ghost stories. Their work has previously appeared in The Cincinnati Review, Nashville Review, Shenandoah, and other journals. Their full-length poetry manuscript has been a semifinalist for the YesYes Books Pamet River Prize and a finalist for the Willow Springs Books Emma Howell Rising Poet Prize.
